This tournament is not a small event; it's a historic moment. It has taken more than 75 years to have this kind of sports infrastructure open for girls. In a state where PM Narendra Modi initiated 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,' this is a significant step towards women's empowerment. Girls' cricket needs heroes and icons, and this world-class tournament provides an environment for girls from villages and small cities to showcase their talent and become those icons. I congratulate the organizers for this commendable and historic effort.

I'm here in Gujarat supporting the Gujarat Women's Championship 2024, and it's an honor to see a platform where females are getting a chance to bring themselves up. The organizers have done a wonderful job. In a country of 140 crore people, empowering women is crucial, and it's fantastic they can put their efforts into sports like this. I believe this platform should not only be in Gujarat but should be continued in other states as well. I would request the organizers to continue their efforts and take this to other states.

Hosting this championship, especially for women's cricket, feels like I'm on top of the world. It's the personification of love and being a champion. Seeing the 'naari shakti' (woman power) and the magnificent energy of our teams, I am on a natural high.
To me, cricket is 'divine' because, in India, we worship it like a god. The vibe here at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium is precious, especially dancing Garba after a beautiful championship.
If I had to describe today's match in one word, it would be 'Sherni' (Lioness), because our Gujarat's Shernis are absolutely fantastic!
